Teen Hip Hop is an open level class where students will learn how to get groovy and funky. The class will start with a warm up which will include body isolations, stretch and strength building. This class utilizes across the floor movement to work on various progressions, learning to let music permeate through the full body, often keeping a bend and a swing to each step. There will also be a focus on freestyle and choreography. This class acknowledges and honors the cultural heritage of Hip Hop and Black dance history.
